Hello, my name is Inga, and I am the founder of FoRest Osteopathy.
Originally from Latvia, I have spent nearly half of my life in the UK. My professional journey began at the University of Sunderland, where I studied Photography and Tourism, before moving to Denmark to continue my education in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I graduated from the Danish academy with distinction and went on to work in hotels across Greece and Turkey. Those years allowed me to meet people from many cultures, strengthen my communication skills, explore beautiful places—and yes, enjoy a wonderful tan. It was an exciting and enriching chapter of my life.
Despite enjoying the experience, I felt something was missing. I wanted a deeper sense of purpose and a way to genuinely help people improve their lives. Quite by chance, I discovered osteopathy, and it immediately resonated with me. I was inspired by the depth of lifelong learning, the continuous development of skills, and—most importantly—the powerful, holistic way osteopathy helps people live healthier, more comfortable lives.
In 2018, I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy with First Class Honours and a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy. Shortly after, I became an associate osteopath at The Mason Clinic in Kent, where I treated patients for over seven and a half years. It was a truly rewarding experience, and I am grateful to have worked with so many wonderful patients during that time.
I have always dreamed of living in Scotland—a land of endless green fields, deep blue lochs, and people with hearts of gold. In November 2025, that dream became a reality. Inspired by Scotland and its community, I founded FoRest Osteopathy, driven by an even greater passion to help people move with ease, reduce pain and discomfort, and enjoy everyday life to the fullest.
My approach is rooted in honesty, mutual respect, and teamwork. I believe that meaningful progress happens when we work together. I also believe that while old habits can be difficult to change, they are never impossible—and that self-care and self-love can play a powerful role in healing.
Outside of osteopathy, I enjoy DIY projects and crafting. I love upcycling old jars and bottles, creating chainmail jewellery, keyrings, and meditation beads, crocheting amigurumi toys, and capturing interesting, unusual, and beautiful moments with my phone camera. I stay active with badminton, swimming, walking, and weightlifting—although I happily admit that I have my lazy moments too.
I am married to a wonderful man, and we have a sweet, adorable daughter. Our family also includes a Siberian Husky, whom I adore—despite his frequent tests of my patience.
It would be an honour to support you on your journey to better health and wellbeing.
Yours sincerely, Inga J
